Ambassador & Endorsement Disclosure

True Joy Birthing, operated by Agentic Trust, believes in transparency. This page explains our financial relationships with ambassadors and third parties, our approach to endorsements and testimonials, and our commitment to FTC compliance. We operate a Doula Ambassador Program that you can learn more about on our Ambassador Program page.

1. Our Ambassador Program & Financial Relationships

True Joy Birthing operates a Doula Ambassador Program. Ambassadors are certified birth professionals — doulas, midwives, childbirth educators, and lactation consultants — who may receive benefits such as free Pro Mode access, featured placement on our city pages, cross-promotion, a partner badge, and early access to new features in connection with their participation in the program.

Ambassadors are independent community partners, not employees of True Joy Birthing or Agentic Trust. Ambassadors do not have authority to bind True Joy Birthing to any obligation, and their views and opinions are their own.

2. FTC Compliance

We comply with the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255). Under these guidelines, any material connection between an endorser and the product or service being promoted must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed.

Ambassadors are expected to disclose their relationship with True Joy Birthing when promoting the brand, our app, our services, or any content related to us. This applies to blog posts, social media posts, videos, podcasts, emails, and any other form of endorsement.

3. Disclosure Requirements for Ambassadors

Disclosures must be:

● Clear — Written in plain language that ordinary consumers can understand.
● Conspicuous — Placed where consumers are likely to see them, not buried in a footer or hidden behind a link.
● Near the endorsement — Close to the claim or recommendation, not separated from it.
● Unambiguous — Not buried in a string of hashtags or placed after a long block of text.

Example disclosure:

"I am a True Joy Birthing Ambassador. I receive free Pro Mode access and other benefits as part of this program."

On social media, the disclosure should appear before any links or hashtags, and #ad or #sponsored alone is not sufficient when a more specific disclosure is practicable.

4. Our Own Endorsements & Testimonials

We may feature testimonials, reviews, and endorsements from users, ambassadors, and other birth professionals on our website, in our app, and in marketing materials. These reflect the genuine experiences and opinions of the individuals who provided them.

No material alteration. We do not materially alter the substance of reviews or testimonials. We may edit for length, clarity, or formatting, but we do not change the meaning or substance of what was said.

No compensation for reviews. We do not pay users to write positive reviews. If a reviewer has a material connection to us (for example, they are an ambassador), that connection will be disclosed.

Right to remove. We reserve the right to remove testimonials that no longer reflect the customer's experience, that we cannot verify, or that we determine are no longer accurate or representative.

Not typical results. Testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee of results. Your experience with True Joy Birthing may differ.

5. Third-Party Links & Affiliate Relationships

Our website and app may contain links to third-party products, services, and websites. If we have a material connection to a third-party product we link to — such as an affiliate relationship, partnership, or financial arrangement — we will disclose that connection clearly and conspicuously near the link.

We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accessibility of third-party websites. Following a link to a third-party site is at your own risk.

6. Changes to This Disclosure

We may update this disclosure from time to time to reflect changes in our programs, partnerships, or legal requirements. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last updated" date.
